Mission Statement
To create an organization to facilitate environmental education for the public and form a community where the Friends of Wachusett Mountain can participate in meaningful conservation projects, land stewardship and research.
Wachusett Mountain Needs Your Help
Wachusett Mountain is a unique place with great opportunities for recreation during every season. Wachusett offers something for anyone who is interested in spending time outdoors. We invite you to join a non-profit organization named Friends of Wachusett Mountain.
Currently, we are interested in discussing ideas with anyone who is interested in hiking, conservation, environmental education and land stewardship right here at Wachusett Mountain.
Volunteer to be part of conservation projects, land stewardship and outdoor education
One of our goals is to create an organization to facilitate environmental education for the public and form a community where the Friends of Wachusett Mountain can fully participate in meaningful conservation projects, land stewardship and research.
We're planning to help ensure the restoration of the old Superintendent's house on Mountain Road in Princeton. This facility would be used primarily for environmental education and research by providing space for presentations, lectures, and a laboratory area. Community groups may be able to use the space as well.
